In French "Merry Christmas" is "Joyeux Noel". As Jose pointed out: "(...) you can see a sign in Spanish, saying "Cerrado para Xavidad" (Closed for Xmas)... But "Christmas" in Spanish is "Navidad"... (...)in the year 3000, in every language imaginable, the word "Christmas" has ended up incorporating an "X" somewhere :) The real "problem" here is that the alien sign is in French, and in the series it is established that in the year 3000 French is a dead language :) (...)"
