Back To The Galaxy of Terror, part 4

A few hours later everyone was gathered in a tunnel underneath the barracks. The tunnel was lit by candles and was built as to allow one to stand up. Everyone was wearing black outfits, as to blend in with the night. They also had on black face paint so that there faces wouldn’t reflective in the moon light. Colonel Hogan was looking through a [periscope to survey the area around the tunnel exit, making sure no guards were around.

“Ok, the coast is clear. Everyone out of the tunnel.” Hogan said

They then went up a wood ladder and came out of a fake tree stump. A few minutes alter and they were gathered around the entrance.

“Now since Newkirk found the markings, he’ll led us to them. Newkirk.”

“Right colonel.”

Newkirk took the point, while Hogan took up the rear with Fry, Leela, and Gates in between. They walked for few hours until they came to two obelisks that were covered in moss and where in serious disrepair.

As the group moved forward, Gates went to one of the obelisks and began scrapping the moss off of it and was interrupted when the sound of a ship landing nearby was heard.

The group turned around and what they saw was the Planet Express ship.Bender and Amy came walking down the ramp, only to be met by a very angry cyclops.

“Amy just what the hell were you thinking about turning Bender on?” She yelled

“Sorry Leela, but it was an accident!” Amy replied.

“Hey big boots. So what’s going on you find that treasure yet?” Bender said, taking a puff of his cigar.

“Hey guys come here! We found it!” Fry said excitedly.

Amy, Leela, and Bender ran over to where Fry was, he was standing by an rectangular hole in the ground with steps leading down.

“So you found it?” Leela said

“Yea come on you wont believe it!” Fry replied. The others followed him down the steps and after a few minutes they came to a balcony where Hogan, Newkirk, and Gates were standing. Before them was a town the size of Mutant Town, only everything was either in gold, platinum or various other rare and expensive elements.

“Neat!” Bender said as he took a photo.

“I don’t know about you meat bags, but I’m off to go do some looting! Hehehe.” Bender said, he then ran toward the edge of balcony and leaped over it and began running around stealing various items.

“So, Dr. Gates what do we do now?” Leela asked

“Well, I’ll contact the museum and they can send a crew out here to start excavating the site. This time they will have all the proper documentation. And I suggest you keep that robot under control.” Gates said

“All right, just minute.” Leela said, she then pushed a few buttons on her wrist thingy and activated Bender’s patriot circuit.

“Aww Damnit!” Bender yelled from somewhere below.

“Come on Bender where’re ready to go home! I think there’s an All My Circuits marathon on!” Fry said, and almost instantly Bender appeared with a bag with the word ‘swag’ written on it.

“Then come on big boots lets go home!” Bender said he then ran up the steps, and to the PE ship.

“Dr. Gates, Col. Hogan, Newkirk, its been a pleasure, but we have to go.” Leela said, she then turned and walked back up the stairs to the PE ship.

All right, I know it wasn’t the best ending, but I just wanted to get this one done. My next one will be a parody of NBC’s Chuck, and will not be a continuation of this one.
