Scene: Conference Centre. The scientists are gathered in the auditorium. Farnsworth stands on stage in front of the microphone, the Civil Defence van is behind him.
Farnsworth: 'Oh, this is all my fault!
Fry: 'That's awful, Professor. Especially the making-out part.
Gore: 'Yeah, I didn't need to hear that.
Farnsworth: 'All modern robots descend from my original smog-blasting designs. And that's the cause of global warming today.
Wernstrom: 'Huh, so the robots are to blame. As I suspected. [He speaks into the microphone.] We are left with only one possible course of action, grim though it be.
Bender: 'I got a good feeling about this!
Wernstrom: 'We must immediately and permanently shut down, dismantle and destroy all robots!
Bender: 'No!
Farnsworth: 'Wait, surely there's a better solution.
Wernstrom: 'Like what?
Civil Defence Van: 'Yes, like what?
Farnsworth: 'Like we could build a gigantic sea-ship with a gigantic freezer the size of France we do have more than enough resources. [Many scientists hum and nod, Wernstrom crosses his arms narrowing his eyes.]
Civil Defence Van: 'Yeah, we have the asteroid belt, one's gonna miss a few asteroids and we have an intergalactic civilization.
Farnsworth: 'And we could use it to freeze vast quantities of seawater to be thrown into the ocean.
Civil Defence Van: 'You're idea Farnsworth sounds better, however expensive it might be?
Wernstrom: 'But what about my idea?
Civil Defence Van: 'Your idea is of complete genocide towards robots, so no!
Bender: 'Yay!
[Time Lapse of a few months.]
Scene: Planet Express: Lounge. Fry beside Leela with his arm around her, and Bender sit on the couch watching the news on TV.
Morbo: [on TV reading a sheet of paper.] 'Temperatures have gone down on Earth, dew to vast amounts of gigantic ice cubes being made on the gigantic sea-ship with a gigantic freezer dropping gigantic ice cubes into the ocean and it's all thanks to Farnsworth and his idea.
Bender: 'Ahhh, life's great. Isn't it Fry? ... Fry? [He looks over at Fry to see he's making out with Leela.] 'Ahhh, you not even listening to me.
