Chapter 1 Hi!
The 8th o’clock in the morning, PE building. Fry and Milton enters to conference room, Leela already waiting for them.
Leela: Hi Fry, hi Milton.
Fry: (amazed)You look cheerful this morning.
Leela: Yea, I had a feeling that something good should happen today.
Fry and Leela sat at table, Milton jump on and lied down on table nearby Fry. Five minutes later, Fry almost finished his breakfast and Leela was halfway to end reading newspaper. Fry and Leela sat in cosy silence.
Milton: (snore) Grrrrr uff, grrrr uff.
Fry and Leela giggled quietly. Milton slumbered on the table, his snore was very funny and his paws lightly moved. They both giggled quietly, till door opened and Bender walked in.
Bender: Hey, skinpiles, whats so funny?
Leela and Fry pointed at sleeping Milton. Bender react coldly.
Fry: Bender, what you doing here, so early?
Bender: I run out of alcohol, so I decided to borrow few bottles from professor.
Hermes and Profesor walkes in. Awaken by that noise,Milton felled of the table.
Milton: (lie on one’s back)(snorte quietly\unfappy)Grof. . . .
Hermes: Good news people, you all going to week long seminar to raise up your qualifications at planet Wingwind 2.
Bender: And why that is good news?
Profesor: Because you all three don't get yours payments for all week.
Bender: (angry)You greedy,old bastard!
Hermes: Bender mon, I’m not that old.
Bender: (angry)Ya, but you are that greedy, also I mentioned other bastard.
Profesor: Oh my yes, anyway off you go!
PE crew leaves the room. (everyone is angry). After five hours of tiring trip PE crew finality arrived at Wingwind 2. Leela landed ship in parking lot, among many other ships. Nearby stood giant grey building, with many towers. When the crew entered in the building, they were amaze. The crew stood in a quite huge hall, walls was made white of stone and six ornament columns sustained the ceiling. The hall was full of humans, aliens and robots, they all talked or walked in small groups, theirs talks and walking sound mixed into strange noise. The crew walks upto two fellows,in near middle twenties, they weared dark blue uniforms, although it looked more like armour than uniform, on theirs shoulders were strange sign: wolf's pow in ring of unknown symbols. One was quite tall, heavily build man with short beard, his sign was golden and next's man that was a bit thiner and had short black hair similar to spikes his sign was silvern. Leela speaked with man who had golden sign on his shoulder.
Leela: Hi my name is Leela, I'm a captain of Planet Express delivery company's ship. This is Fry our delivery boy and Bender.
Fry\Bender: (shortly)Hi!
Man with golden sign on his shoulder: Hi! Nice to meet you. My name is Wolfgan I'm a captain and head of Wolfgan's deliverys company. And this is my old friend and co-worker Engar.
Engar: Hi!So this is that legendary Planet Express crew?
Leela: (confused) Legendary?
Wolfgan: Yep, you fellows are only crew that survive more then two weeks in that job. (noticed Milton behind Fry) Who is that cute animal?
Fry: (embrace Milton) His name is Milton, he is my pet.
Wolfgan: (easy stroke Milton's head) Nice to meet you too Milton. (to himself) Hmm. . I thought I alone keep this kind of animal as a pet.
Fry: (amazed)You have same animal as Milton?
Wolfgan: Yes. He sleeping in my ship right now.
Then few years younger woman (than Wolfgan or Engar) with dark glasses walked in between Wolfgan, Engar and PE crew. She weared dark blue, long, but light coat definitely similar to Wolfgan's and Engar's uniforms. Her long, straight, brown her was visibly dyed. She spoken to Wolfgan and Engar.
The young woman: Hey, fellow I managed to get us best and most big living space in this place. Unfortunately we have to share kitchen and rest room with few greenhorns from Planet Express.
Wolfgan: (bit shamed) Leina, this is those greenhorns from Planet Express. This is Fry, Milton, Benger. . .
Bender: (corrects)BENDER.
Wolfgan: (wave his hand a bit). . . whatever and captain Leela.
Leina was comply amazed she barely could move.
Leela: (angry)Yes I have only one eye.
Leina slowly taked off her glasses, and looked at Leela's eye with her eye.
Chapter 2 To tell the truth.
Leela and Leina stood shocked in silence. Everyone were shocked and amazed even Fry,Bender and Engar stood dumbstrucked, only Wolfgan seemed a bit less confused. Still shocked Leina spoken.
Leina: (nearly crying) For years I searched for another cyclops!And finally found one.
Leina huged Leela and started to cry. Leela barely could speak.
Leela: But you. . . me. . . . we. . . I. . . I thought there are no more cyclops, just I and. . . . .
Leina: (through tears of joy)You mean there is more of us?
Leela: (still stunned)Me. . My parents and I have one eye.
Leina: I knew, I knew it I'm not alone. What galaxy we came from?What planet is our homeland?
Leela: I came from Earth. My parents live in. . . . (she suddenly stoped and submerged into her thoughts)
Leina steped back. She looked a bit calmer.
Leina: (clearing tears)Leela will you show me the way to home?
Leela: (thoughtful)I think we can take you along on our way back.
Leina: (joyful)Finally!I'll see my homeland. Wolfgan can I go with PE crew to my homeworld?
Wolfgan: Of course NOT!I and Engar will accompany you to Earth. Our ship needs good repairs and renewal anyway.
Engar: Then all is decided next week we all travel to Earth. But now we should take our belongings to living space, before the first seminar starts.
Bender: Good point!Let's drag our things to the apartments.
Wolfgan: (to Leina)I certain that you and Leela going to have a plenty of time to chat, but now we have some work to do.
Leina: We’ll meet again soon Leela.
Leela: Certainly.
PE and WD crew separated. Everyone was astonish by this meeting, but Leela remained quiet. PE crew returned to theirs ship.
Fry and Bender started to picking up and carry few thing that they taken to this planet.
Fry: I never knew that there is more cyclops, do you?Leela?
Leela: (thoughtful)What?Oh no I didn't. Can you carry my stuff too?I need to make a call.
Fry: Sure.
Fry walks out and Leela quickly sit at her chair. She quickly press few numbers on control desk and screen moved in front of Leela. The screen slightly glimmered and faces emerge in it. It was Leela's parents.
Morris: Look honey it Leela calling.
Munda: Nice to see you darling, you calling to us rarely lately.
Leela: I had a lot of work lately, but thats not why I'm calling, have you ever heard name Leina before?
Leela's parants were shocked, like they seening ghost against ourselves. Munda breaked into tears.
Morris: (to Leela,painfully)We keeped a secret from you, you see you have a little sister.
Chapter 3 Finally way to Home.
Leela was terribly shocked. Although Leela presumed this fact, before she called to her parents,but she reject it as impossible. Leela still in her chair, confounded and stunned, her father continued to talk.
Morris: (painfully)She is two years younger then you. When that little angel born, I and your mother decided to give her a better life in orphanerium, then this terrible life in sewer. (then he started to cry).
Leela: (still shocked)But. . . . but why you never told me about her?
Munda: (crying)Few days later when gave her away, we learned that she was adopted by the aliens. We thought that is you find out this,you might find her and ruin her's life. We're sorry Leela!
Leela: (peacefuly)I understand.
Leela turned of the screen and sat in quiet for a several minutes. When she finally walked out from the ship she seen Fry and Bender standing near black ship twice as big as their ship. Leela walked by Fry and bender,she hidden her true emotions and wanted to speak with Fry, but Wolfgan,Leina,Engar and small animal emerged from the black ship. They all carryed a small bag with himself. That small animal was alike Milton,just a bit biger, brown whity striped.
Fry: (to Wolfgan)Cool!You have same pet as I.
Wolfgan: (proud)Yes hi's name is Lee.
Milton and Lee walk near each other and starts to play.
Bender: SO!This is yours ship?
Engar: Yup!Old and rusty, but fast!I repairing it once in a while, (sarcastic)because Wolfgan only knows how to pilot!
Wolfgan: Ha ha. . . ya I'm good pilot.
Engar: And awful mechanic!
Everybody smiles except Leela, she looks very thoughtful. Everybody walked back to building, when Leina noticed Leela standing on the same spot. Leina walked near Leela, everybody else was quite far away.
Leina: Leela is something wrong?
Leela standed still, sayed nothing, just showed her bracelet. Leina was stunned when she lifted her coat's arm and seen perfectly same bracelet on herself's arm. Leina wanted to ask what it mean, but Leela spoken: My father made these bracelets for my mother,me,himself and to my little sister. Both Leela and Leina bursted into tears and huged each other. When Leela and Leina catched up the everybody else in building,the first seminar was alredy halfway ended, although it was more like presentation. Every day they all sited in seminars for hours, most of that time Fry,
Bender and Engar sleeped, although Wolfgar falled asleep few times as well, only Leela and Leina listen to all that stuff about shipments and shipping. At every evening PE and WD crews used to gather in theirs living quarters to chat about past day. They all became quite good friends during that week. Although that week, which they all spent in this training centre, ended unusually quickly. But it was enough of time for PE crew to know theirs new friends better. When they were prepareing for a trip back to Earth, nobody no longer was surprised as Leela called Leina a sis or when Bender nicknamed Wolfgan "single glove". During this week PE crew learned that:
Wolfgan used to live in NNY five years ago, and that he worked as a chef before he hurt one’s right hand so terribly that he couldn't work as chef anymore. Therefore he always wear glove on his right hand. Then he found delivery company and started to travel throughout space.
Leina's parents that adopted her died in a accident, when Leina was eighteen years old. She always knew that she was adopted, but unknowned which planet she is from, therefore she joined up whit Wolfgan and Engar tree years ago, to be in search for her true homeland.
And about Engar: they learned that he is best and oldest Wolfgan's friend, therefore Wolfgan sometimes called him "bro". Engor was quite good mechanic and always taked care of company's paper works. He was good man, who always helps in trouble.
When they ended the prepareing Leina decided to fly in PE ship, to Earth. Few minutes later both's ship's doors shut in and PE ship set off, WD ship simply followed it.
Chapter 4 Meeting.
The flight to Earth was smooth and fast. Although Leina still managed to annoy Fry and Bender, with her endless questions to Leela. Leela landed ship in PE HQ and Wolfgan landed his ship at empty parking lot, nearby PE HQ. Professor,Hermes and Amy stood near PE ship to welcome Leela,Fry and Bender with theirs return to Earth. They were stunned to see how Leina geted off the ship along with Leela,Fry and Bender.
Leela: (smiling)We just returned from that mission. And we have a few guests. Here is Leina.
Leina: I'm glad to meet you.
Professor: I'm glad to meet you too.
Hermes: Welcome to Earth.
Amy: Hi.
Leela: Leina is my little sister.
Professor,Hermes and Amy gasped.
Hermes: Thats impossible, woman.
Leina: Its truth.
Leina uncover her eye and Professor, Hermes and Amy gasped even more. Suddenly doorbell chimed. Fry runed to open it. Behind door stood Wolfgan and Engar, Fry invited them in and introduced them to Professor,Hermes and Amy.
Hemes: What winds blowed you here?
Wolfgan: Well we need to repair our ship and we thought maybe you could help, not for free of course.
Professor: Well I almost uncovered the bigest secret in the universe, but I think I could help you with yours ship.
Wolfgan: Great, Engar help Professor to repair the ship, mean while I'll accompany Leina and Leela to theirs parents.
Leela/Leina: What?!
Wolfgan: I don't want to lose another deliveryman.
Leela/Leina: What happened to last?
Wolfgan: I don’t know, I haven't found him, all.
Few minutes later everybody dispersed. While Professor and Engar were repairing the ship, Leela and Leina went to see theirs parents and Wolfgan accompanyed them. When they walked across mutants city they all feeled, like many eyes watching them, Leina was clearly scared, but Leela calme her down. Finally they camed to Leela's parent's house, Leela and Leina entered first and Wolfgan keep distance and sood a bit behind them. Morris and Munda was already waiting for them. When Leina seen her parents she bursted into tears of joy and falled into Morri's and Munda's embrace.
Leina: (with tears of joy in her eye)Its the happyest day of my life.
Munda: (with tears of joy in her eye)Thanks to you, Leela our family is united again.
Morris: We missed you so much.
Leina: For tree years I searched for you. I joined in Deliverys company to searched for you, and now I'm finally here with my family.
Then Leina walked up to Wolfgan.
Leina: Thanks you, Wolfgan. Without your help I mayed to never found my family. Thank you for leting me to join your company,although I haven't got enough experience or a proper career chip.
Wolfgan walked of the shadow and smiled.
Wolfgan: I’m glad, I could to help you. Also I can thanks to your parents, again.
Morris: (looking at Wolfgar)Wait a second, I know you!
Chapter 5 The Explosion.
Wolfgan: (bit surprised)I thought you forgotten me long time ago. Although I never forgotten you.
Leela/Leina: (amazed)What?!You know our parents?!
Wolfgan: Sure!How could I forget my saviours?
Leela/Leina: (amazed)What?
Munda: We found this man in one of sewer's shaft, five years ago.
Morris: (continued)He was laying unconscious, his both legs was broken and his right hand was. . .
Wolfgan: (quickly interfered). . . was terribly hurted. But luckily yours parents found me and tended me till I recovered, and then they showed me the way out. Thanks a lot, again.
Munda and Morris wanted to add something to that story, but Wolfgan's face clearly showed that he don’t want to go deeper into it. Leela and Leina talked with theirs parents nearly for more two hours. When Leela,Leina and Wolfgan returned to the surface, it was already early evening. They decided to check up on Engar and Professor, before inviting everybody to restaurant for evening meal to celebrate, this wonderful day. Engar and Professor was still
repairing ship when Leela,Leina and Wolfgan arrived. Engar walked up them, still cleaning his hands from oil.
Engar: (smiling)Well. We repaired the ship halfway already. We even improved the engines.
Wolfgan: (happy)Great. I'll go and take a look at it.
Wolfgan walked behind the ship and shortly something exploded. Leela,Leina and Engar runed near to the centre of explosion, and seen a wall of black smokes and broken engine. They all were in a cold sweat.
Leina: (scared)What’s happened?Where is Wolfgan?
Suddenly Walfgan walked out from smokes and coughed a few times. His clothes was teared in a few placed and on his face was few scratches. Leina huged Wolfgan.
Wolfgan: (smiling)I'm fine!
Leela: (terrifyed)Your right hand!!
Wolfgan raised his right arm and everybody gasped. In Wolfgan's right palm was seven centimetres length metal shard. It pierced his palm and glove, and now it was stuck in the middle of his palm.
Leela: Wait I'll go and get a doctor.
Wolfgan: NO!I don't need a doctor. I'll be fine.
Wolfgan turned away, he griped shard tight and pulled it out. He droped bloody shard on the ground, then he cover the wound with left palm, and turned back.
Wolfgan: (hiding pain)You see, I'm fine. Go to PE building, I catch up with you soon.
Then Wolfgan walked into his ship, picked up medicine chest and walked to his cabin. He sat in a chair, put medicine chest on table nearby, and drawed off glove off his right hand. On his right hand he had talons instead of fingers, although he could move and flex them same as fingers, but talons was steel-hard and his fist was coated with small bone plates. Wolfgan looked at slowly shrinking wound, he bandaged it up, and draw new glove on. Then he standed up, taked a deep breath and walked to PE building.
Chapter 6 The Lightning.
When Wolfgan entered to PE rest room, Leela and Leina was still telling to everybody what happen to him.
Hermes: Mon, you should go to doctor.
Wolfgan: It just a small scratch. By the way, we going to the restaurant or what?
Leela: Certainly, but first doctor must see you. Where is Zoidberg anyway?I think, I'll go and find him.
Meanwhile Zoidberg scavenged in fridge. He taked out two sausages and placed it nearby a loaf of bread.
Zoidberg: Hurray, Zoidberg will eat.
Zoidberg reached for sausage when he saw flash of light and sausage disappeared.
Zoidberg: What?Well I still have one sausage, left.
He saw another flash of light and another sausage disappeared.
Zoidberg: I still have a loaf of bread.
Bread also disappeared in a flash of light. Zoidberg bursted into tears, then Leela appeared in in the doorway.
Leela: Zoidberg, could you take a look at Wolfgan. I think he might be injured.
Zoidberg: Really?patient. . . . good.
Zoidberg followed Leela to rest room. Wolfgan sated on the couch, when Zoidberg walked in and go on his knees close to Wolfgan. Zoidberg intently looked at Wolfgan, made some sounds and poked to Wolfgan few times with his claws.
Zoidberg: Uh-uh, I don’t like this!I fear I may have to amputate these.
Wolfgan: (angry)That is my legs. Do you even know human anatomy?
Zoidberg: What?I thought that you are a robot.
Wolfgan: And I thought that you are fool, but it turned out that you are madcrab with susceptibility to madness.
Zoidberg: May I amputate your legs anyway?
Wolfgan: NO!(to the rest) We just wasteing time, I'm fine. So we still going to the restaurant?
Leela: (uncertain)You look healthy. . . . . Well ok!Bender, Amy, Hermes, Professor do you all want to come along to restaurant with me, Fry, Leina,Engar and Wolfgan?
Bender/Amy/Hermes/Professor: Sure!
Zoidberg: Hurray, I'm going to restaurant with my friends.
Leela/Wolfgan: You uninvited.
Zoidberg: Ow.
Everybody spent terrific time in the restaurant, except Zoidberg. The Next morning Leela and Leina arrived at PE HQ quite early, but they was astonished to find Fry already siting in dining room. Fry sat in his chair and drinked coffee.
Leela: (astonished)Fry?!What are you doing here?
Fry: I couldn’t sleep. I don’t know why?Do you want a cup of coffee?
Leela: Ok. Maybe we should invite Engar and Wolfgan to join us for breakfast?
Fry: They decided to stay in theirs ship, for some reason.
Leina: I'll go.
Leina quickly leaved the room. Meanwhile Leela sat in a chair nearby Fry and made herself a cup of coffee.
Fry: (quietly)Can you see it?
Leela: See what?
Fry: (with a smile)Well, your sister and Wolfgan. . .
Leela: Fry!What are you takling about?
Fry: It is obvious. Wolfgan is in love with Leina and, I think she love him.
Leela: (disbelieve) What?! NO! It can't be!
Fry: (giggled quietly) I'm telling you, there is something between them.
Leela: Fry, it can’t be true.
Fry: Why?
Suddenly Leina, Wolfgan and Engar walked in. Wolfgan and Engar looked a little sleepy, but in a good mood. They all sit down around the table, and began to chat about last evening. Theirs joyful chat was interrupt by Professor.
Professor: Good morning my crew, wait who are you?
Wolfgan: (slightly angry) Our ship is a bit broken and you helping to repair it, forgotten?
Professor: Why should, I remember something like that?
Wolfgan layed a small pile of money on the table.
Professor: Oh right, anyway Fry, Leela you have a very urgent delivery to 'New Reavas' the second planet outside our solar system.
Fry: Bender is still absent.
Professor: No time, no time.
Professor quickly gave small, but heavy crate to Fry, and follow Fry and Leela till ship. Leela and Fry slow climbed a steps into the ship,and Milton followed them. Thirty minutes later PE ship landed in New Reavas. Leela carryed out the crate Fry and Milton followed her.
Leela: Let's hurry up, before a storm breaks out!
Fry looked up at dark clouds and picked up Milton. Few minutes later the storm breaked out, Fry,Leela and Milton was drenched to the bone when they approach small suspension bridge. The bridge hanged over small river. Fry standed by the start of the bridge, under a big tree.
Fry: Leela take Milton and give me the crate, I'll carry it to other side of the bridge.
Leela gave the crate to Fry and to standed aside, with Milton in her hands. Fry tryed step forth, but invisible green lightning striked through tree and hited him. Fry falled on his knees, and falled on side, then broke tree's branches crash on him. Leela couldn’t believe her eye. She runed near the pile of branches and draged Fry out. Leela cryed Fry's name few times, but Fry unresponded, only his arms and legs shaked once in a while. Leela draged Fry,over the mud and puddles towards the ship. Milton grabed Fry's jacket's corner with his teeths. The white light flashed extremely brightly and Leela,Fry and Milton appeared in the PE ship. Milton fell nearby Fry, he was completely exhausted. Leela quickly jumped in her chair and flyed, back to Earth at full speed. Fry waked up the next morning, he saw beautiful woman, with purple hair and muddy clothes, she spoken with a man in white.
Leela: Doctor, how is he?
Doctor: Well, I amazed that he is still alive, after that. He only broked his left handed and easily dashed his head.
Leela noticed that Fry awoken and runed near him.
Leela: FRY!How are you?
Fry: Hurts a bit everywhere,but I feel quite good. And who is Fry?
Chapter 7 The Flash of Hope.
Leela: FRY!Don't you remember me?
Fry: a. . . . . . . no.
Leela: FRY!I'm Leela your gir. . . . . . your friend and co-worker.
Fry: Sorry, I don't remember you.
Then Leela bursted into tears, Fry tryed to calm down her. Suddenly Leina and Wolfgan runed in.
Leina: Leela!We came as soon as we heard what happened, how is Fry?
Leela: (cleaning tears)He waked up, but he can't remember anything.
Fry: Who is Fry?
Leela/Leina/Wolfgan: YOU!
Wolfgan sat on chair nearby and drawed small book from his pocket. He started to search for something throughout the pages. Leina taked a look at book, but saw only old pages fully written with odd symbols and few pictures.
Leela: What are you doing?
Wolfgan: I might be able to help.
Leina: What?I thought that in your book just old recipes.
Wolfgan: That’s right!!(reading)Hmmm. . . . stews. . no. . . light beer. . no. . dark beer. . no. . soups. . no. . . beer again. . no. I found it!
The tea of spirit:
1 cup of boiling water.
1 spoon of blue salt.
and 2 leaves of ice flower and blood bush.
Side-effects: retrieval of memory, and sometimes a short itch.
Leela: (cheered up) Brilliant!Do you have those ingredients?
Wolfgan: (bit sadly) Only the salt and water. But I know where to find the rest. In small uninhabited planet, outside this solar system, I think It called the Dustdusk.
Leela: (scared) I heard that Dusdusk is cursed and haunted. Therefore nobody living there.
Wolfgan: I don’t care. I still going to the Dustdusk.
Leela: I'm going together with.
Leina: I'm too.
Wolfgan: Sorry, Leela you must stay with Fry.
Twenty minutes later Leina and Wolfgan stood nearby theirs ship. Engar quick walked up to them both.
Engar: How is Fry?
Wolfgan: Rather badly. But, I might be able to help him. Is new engine fitted to ship?
Engar: Yes, I . . .
Wolfgan: Good!
Leina walked into the ship Wolfgan pushed Engar after her. Half-hour later they landed on Dustdusk. Wolfgan and Leina quickly walked from meadow where they landed into the thick forest.
Wolfgan: Leina, seek a large red bush with small red leaves.
Few minutes later Leina yelled.
Leina: I found It.
Wolfgan: That’s great!I just found ice flower.
Wolfgan unrooted weird blue flower and put it into sack on his belt together with handful of leaves from red bush.
Leina: (scared)W. . Wo. . Wolfgan!
Wolfgan turned and seen ten or more lizard-like monsters surrounding them. Monsters had horns, fangs, tails, scaly green skins and blue eyes. Monsters weared strange clothes made from furs,hides,feather and bones, few of them carryed bows, crossbows and spears.
Wolfgan: (silentently)I'll hold them back, and you run.
Leina: : (silentently)What?
Wolfgan grabed lizard's arm and throwed it on two other lizards near Leina.
Wolfgan: RUN!!
Leina runed away, two lizards tryed to follow her, but Wolfgan grabed theirs clothes, one lizard sneaked from behind and knocked down Wolfgan, unconscious. Leina runed back to ship and explained what just hapened.
Leina: (scared)We must to make a call to D. O. O. P they can help us!
Engar: They can't!We must call to Planet Express, they alone can help us now. Leela with her friends will help us.
Leina quickly made a call to Leela. Half-hour later Leela arriveed together with Bender.
Leela: What happened?
Leina: (crying)We were in forest and monsters us. I don’t know what happened to Wolfgan!
Bender: Leave him.
Leela: (angry)We can't leave him!
Bender: I can.
Leela: We have to go look for him!Engar, do you have any weapons?
Engar: Sure, ten pistols they can't kill, but paralyse for an hour.
Leela: I and Leina going to search. Engar, Bender stay here and guard the ships.
Engar: I can help!
Leela: I know, but you must protect the ships so we could escape.
Engar: Ok.
Leina lead Leela to place where they was attacked. Leela looked around.
Leela: Draging marks!He must still be alive.
Leela and Leina traced it, till old ruins. Near ruins burned a few bonfires and many lizards walked around.
Leela: I can't see him. He is probably in the ruins. We must get in there.
Leina: (scared)Leela!We surrounded!
Leela turned around and saw many lizards everywhere around them. Lizards tied Leela's and Leina's arms with rope and locked up in a old cell inside the ruins.
Leela: These ruins. . . . . Its a old jail.
Suddenly Leela and Leina sighted Wolfgan lying in corner. Wolfgan standed up and untied Leela's and Leina's arms. Wolfgan looked beaten and slightly wounded in the arm.
Leina: What happened?
Wolfgan: Those things draged me here, and when I tryed to fightback they beaten me, one even bited my arm.
Leela: We must get out of here!This wall is old and cracked. We could get out if we break it down!
Leela kicked the wall few times.
Leela: I need a hammer or a piece of steel, anything!
Wolfgan: I'll break it down!
Wolfgan taked off his glove and started to slash the wall with his claw. Leela and Leina stood aside, both stunned. Few minutes later Wolfgan made hole in the wall, big enough to get out.
Wolfgan: Come on!Let's get out of here!
Leela, Leina and Wolfgan quickly sneaked out and runed to the ships as as quickly as could.
Few minutes later they finally sighted the ships.
Leela: Come on!We almost there.
Leina: Fater they behind us!
Few arrows hited trees nearby. Engar started to shot at lizard. Leela ran into the ship and started it.
Leina fall down near ship,but Wolfgan raise her.
Wolfgan: Raise up!(lightly shaked)Come on!
Leina and Wolfgan jumped on PE ship's staircase and it lifted them into ship. Then both ships lifted off.
Leina: Wolfgan!You saved me.
Wolfgan: (weakly)i l. . . y. . , Leina.
Then Wolfgan falled to his knees, closed eyes and falled down. Leina saw four arrows in Wolfgan's back.
Chapter 8 The Cursed One.
Wolfagn opened his eyes and saw Leina siting in chair by his side.
Wolfgan: (slightly smiling)I must be in heaven, because I'm seeing an angel.
Leina: (happily)Wolfgan you alive!
Wolfgan: Yes. How long I been in here?
Leina: For two days!Doctors said that you won’t survive.
Wolfgan: Strange to say, but I feel fine.
Suddenly doctor walked in.
Doctor: (surprise)What?
Wolfgan: I feel fine, can I leave the hospital?
Doctor taked a look at Wolfgan's wounds.
Doctor: (amazed)Strange, but your wounds nearly healed up.
Wolfgan: Can I leave the hospital, now?
Doctor: In theory yes, but you should stay here at least more one day.
Wolfgan: Sorry, but I have a urgent work to finish. I can' stay here any longer.
Hour later Wolfgan checked out from the hospital. Everybody was astonished when Leina and Wolfgan entered in the PE HQ.
Bender: Look, It's big boots's sis and claw guy!
Leina: Sorry, but we told them how you rescued us.
Wolfgan: It’s okay. I hided it too long, anyway. Where is my sack with the ingredients?
Leina: In the ship.
Wolfgan quickly walked to the ship.
Leela: (astonished)What happened?Wolfgan should be in the hospital!
Leina: I know, but today he waked up and his wounds was nearly healed up.
Leela: (thoughtful)I see. Maybe I'll go check him up, maybe he needs assistance.
Wolfgan standed in ship's kitchen. He was making Fry's tea, when Leela walked in.
Leela: Wolfgan, can I ask a question?
Wolfgan: Sure.
Leela: Who are you?Human,alien or m. . . . .
Wolfgan: Mutant?I'm no longer a human, but I'm still not a mutant. (he gave a cup of tea to Leela)I hope this will help to Fry.
Leela quickly carryed the tea to Fry.
Leela: Fry drink off this tea.
Fry: (after two sips of tea)Yuck!Wait I remember, everything!Leela I remember, but what’s happened after the lightning?
Leela said nothing, just huged him. In the evening, Leela decided to invite Wolfgan and Leina to the restaurant. Leela found Leina near the Wolfgan's ship.
Leela: Leina, I was thinking maybe you and Wolfgan, would like to go into the restaurant with me and Fry?I paying the bill.
Leina: (smiling)I’d like to, wait a bit I'll ask Wolfgan.
Leina runed into the ship and shortly Leela heard Leina's scream. Leela quickly ran into the ship and found Leina kneeled near Wolfgan in the kitchen. Wolfgan lied on his stomach, quickly Leela and Leina fliped him over, but they both were scared by that sight. Wolfgan's skin was slightly green, he had two fangs sticked out from his mouth and on his head stood two short horn. Wolfgan slowly open his eyes, then Leela and Leina sighted that Wolfgan's eyes are completely blue.
Chapter 8 The Scaly Days.
Wolfgan slowly standed up, but he couldn’t understand why Leela and Leina seems so scared.
Wolfgan: What?
He noticed that Leela and Leina stared in his face and that his voice was different. Wolfgan looked at his hands.
Wolfgan: (scared)NO!
Wolfgan grabed a frying pan and looked at his own reflection.
Wolfgan: (frightened)NO!NO!THIS CAN'T BE. . . . . (hopefully)Professor is professor!He could know whats happening, to me.
Wolfgan runed to PE's dining room were Bender and Fry sat.
Wolfgan: Where is Professor?
Fry/Bender: (scared)Monster!
Wolfgan: I'm not a monster!It’s me Wolfgan.
Fry: (still slightly scared)Professor in laboratory.
Wolfgan runed in laboratory saw and that Professor is sleeping in his chair.
Wolfgan: Professor help!I'm transforming into something!
Professor: Who are you, monster?
Wolfgan: It’s me Wolfgan. Can you help me?
Professor: (thoughtful)I could do a few test. . .
Wolfgan: That’s great!
Professor: Now, lie down on the table and I'll do few painful, painful test.
Wolfgan quickly lied down on the table, then Professor took some of Wolfgan's blood for test. Soon everyone gathered in laboratory.
Hermes: What in Babylon happened to you, mon?
Wolfgan: I don’t know.
Zoidberg: He hideous!
Wolfgan: You not flower yourself, lobster.
Professor: (stares at paper)Strange, Wolfgan's blood test shows that he has 49% human's and 51% lizard's DNA.
Everybody gasp.
Fry: What does this mean?
Professor: Wolfgan transforming into lizard!
Everybody gasp, again.
Wolfgan: Is there cure for this?
Professor: No!Although I could try to create cure, but it will take a week or even longer. And I think you have two or three days left, before you transform into lizard completely.
Chapter 9 The Scalesss.
Wolfgan: There must be cure!
Professor: No, there there isn’t!
Wolfgan tryed to say, but he changed his mind and simply walked out. Everybody except professor followed him. Wolfgan walked to dining room and sat on chair. He looked very depressed.
Fry: It’s not that bad as you think.
Wolfgan: (sadly)Really?
Fry: Sure, everything could be much worse. You could have a tail or gigantic claws.
Everybody heard the sound of riping cloth.
Wolfgan: (sadly)Great, now I have a tail as well.
Bender: Cheer up, scaly meat bag!Here have some coffee.
Bender gave a cup of coffee to Wolfgan.
Wolfgan: (sadly)Thanks, Bender.
Bender: Five dollars.
Leela/Fry: (angrily)BENDER!
Bender: What?
Wolfgan taked a sip of coffee and quickly spited it out.
Wolfgan: Are you trying to poison me?
Bender: No, but it on my "to-dolist".
Wolfgan slightly giggled.
Wolfgan: Thanks for trying to Cheer me up, but I need some time to think and. . .
Wolfgan was interrupted by Professor which suddently walked in.
Professor: Good news, everyone!
Wolfgan: (hopefully)Did you created a cure?
Professor: No, even better!I found extremely small hint, where to find legendary fountain a. k. a cure for all diseases.
Wolfgan: Where is it?
Professor: Somewhere in Mars mountain range.
Amy: But Mars mountains are gigantic.
Professor: Yes, but fountain is in the lost temple of native Martians, not somewhere in mountains.
Bender: As if to look for a needle in a haystack.
Professor: Yes, it’s nearly impossible and very dangerous mission.
Wolfgan: I’m going to the Mars mountain range.
Engar: That is stupid and unsafe journey!I’m going together with you.
Leina: Me too.
Leela: We go, as well.
Wolfgan: Thanks, friends. Well let’s pack ours things, we may stay in Mars for a few days.
They managed to pack theirs things, over two hours. Then they flyed off, without delay. Engar sat in chair near, and constantly peeking at Wolfgan. That soon began to annoy Wolfgan.
Wolfgan: What?
Engar: I been thinking maybe if we won't find that cure, you could go to live with the mutants?
Wolfgan: Probably, no!
Engar: Are you afraid?
Wolfgan: I'm not afraid to live with the mutants, I am only afraid that I'll turn into bloodthirsty beast. Now stop asking stupid questions, buckle up and prepare for landing.
The PE and WD ships flyed in Mar's atmosphere.
Chapter 10 The Guardian angel.
The ships flyed near the bigest mountain and landed in a small valley nearby. The valley was rocky and dry, only a few scrubs grew at the edges. First walked out Wolfgan with backpack and map in his hand. Everybody else walked out with backpacks as well, Wolfgan spread the map on the ground and everybody surrounded him.
Wolfgan: Hmm. . . . according to map, there is only two ways out from this valley in north of here and in the south.
The first day they traveled in the south, but unfortunately they found nothing. They returned to ships to stay overnight. And the next morning they prepared to travel in the north.
Fry: They want to go with us.
Wolfgan turned round and saw Milton and Lee. Wolfgan walked up to Milton and Lee, and pated them softly.
Wolfgan: (to Milton and Lee)Little rascals, want to come along?
Milton and Lee made a few fun sounds and waged theirs tails. Wolfgan giggled.
Wolfgan: (smiling)Come along!
The group walked to north, few minutes later they reached the valley's edge and entered into a narrow pass. Milton and Lee runed at the front, playful and Bender trailed along, constantly complaining. After an hour of walking Fry shouted.
Fry: Finally, well! I'm dying of thirst.
Fry runed near the well and looked to inside.
Fry: Crud!The well is dry.
Leela: Fry, don’t you have a water-bottle in your backpack?
Fry gave a sheepish smile to Leela and draw the can of slurm from his backpack. Wolfgan walked up to well and looked inside, then he draw a rope from his backpack. Wolfgan tied one end to giant rock, nearby the well and dropped the other end into the well. He quickly climbed down. Soon everybody heard Wolfgan's voice.
Wolfgan: I found a tunnel!
Shortly Fry,Leela,Leina and Engar climbed down into the well, only Milton and Lee stay at the surface.
Wolfgan: Come on!Over there is a staircase!
They wandered in old and dusty hallways for two hours, till they entered into a huge chamber. Leela down a small box from her backpack and put it on the floor. The box started to spin and chamber light up. The chamber was narrow, but quite long, with a few pillars on the sides and the floor was made of small and large bricks. And at chamber's end was a small fountain. Leina saw the fountain and started to run towards it.
Wolfgan: WAIT!!NO!
Leina steped on a small brick and it moved down into the floor. The whole chamber started to tremble, many large rocks falled to the ground and in the middle of the chamber opened huge hollow. The hollow spread towards Leina, she tryed to run, but the floor under her feet falled in. Leina managed to caught the edge of the hollow,she hold on for a few seconds, but her finger slipped. The same moment Wolfgan catched Leina's hand,Fry and Leela grabed Wolfgan's legs and draw them both from the hollow on the sturdy floor.
Leela: (worryed)Leina!Do you feel okay?
Leina: I'm okay.
Leina looked at Wolfgan and screamed. Wolfgan lied on his back nearby, he wailed silently. His skin slowly changed into scales, his horns and fangs grew longer and longer.
Leela: OH NO!The hollow blocked up the way to the cure!
Leina throw off her coat and spread her wings. Leina had four feathered wings, two big and two small slightly below. Her white feathers with light blue tips, slightly glowed. Leina overflew the hollow and landed near the fountain. The fountain was smashed by the large rocks that falled from the ceiling. Leina looked around and saw a small puddle, nearby. She scooped some water with her palms, then she flew back to Wolfgan and forced him to drink all the water. Wolfgan swallowed the water and coughed a few times. Soon his horns and fangs started to shrink and soon disappeared, his skin and eyes became normal.
Chapter 11 The Bloody Feather.
Leina: Wolfgan, do you feel okay?
Wolfgan: (softly)I’m fine. Thank you, my angel.
Leina slightly blushed. Wolfgan quickly stand up and drawed off glove off his right hand, but quickly drawed it on again.
Leela: Let’s go back, this place is unsafe.
They managed to reached the surface quickly, but returned to Earth only shortly before the
midnight. Everybody decided to go to rest and meet up, tomorrow. Half-hour after midnight Wolfgan walked out from his ship, he looked grief-stricken and thoughtful. After a few steps he heard something, he looked towards the river and saw someone standing near there. He walked closer and recognized that, Leina stood there. Wolfgan walked up to eina and looked at the stars, as well. Leina noticed Wolfgan and slightly jumped.
Leina: Wolfgan!I. . . I. . .
Wolfgan: I know. You have a important decision to make. No matter what you decide. . .
Leina: Wolfgan. I. . .
Wolfgan: (smiled)It’s okay.
Wolfgan took off a small,ornamented pendant and hang it on Leina's neck. Leina huged him and returned to her room in the ship. The next day Wolfgan gave three days off to Leina and Engar. Leina spent all the time Leela and her parents. Three days later Wolfgan payed for ship's repair and for help. Wolfgan and Engar said goodbye to everyone, Leela, Leina, Fry and Bender stood and watched how Wolfgan and Engar walking into the ship.
Leina: Wait!I’m going together with you.
Leela: But I thought you staying here, with us!
Leina: Sorry!But I can't leave hi. , I mean them.
Leela: It’s okay, I understand.
Leina huged Leela.
Leina: I’ll call and visit you often.
Leela: (with tears of joy in her eye)Ok.
Leina grabed her backpack and runed into the ship. Nearly one week passed, since Leina,Wolfgan and Engar left, although Leina called to Leela quite often. Fry, Leela and Bender sat in conference room, when the Professor walk in.
Professor: Good news everyone!We just got very big assignment from the D. O. O. P and we can't fulfil it.
Leela: And why that is good news?
Professor: Because, I found unpaid assistants for you.
The room doors open and Leina,Wolfgan and Engar walked in.
Bender: (a bit sarcastic)Great!That is the big boots's sis, spiky hair and claw guy.
Wolfgan: Nice to see you too Bender.
Professor: No time for a friendly chats you have a assignment to complete.
Hour later both PE and WD ships was stuffed up with crates. The assignment from the D. O. O. P was easy, to deliver a mound of crates to Nimbus. The ships flew to Nimbus for over two hours and the unloading last an hour. Luckily Leela nad Leina had a plenty of time to chat, during the work. Meanwhile Milton and Lee played nearby.
Leela: Now we need a captain's signature and we can go home.
Suddenly Zapp Brannigan walked in.
Zapp: Did said captain?
Leela: (angry)Just sign up.
Leela gave him a paper to sign up. Zapp quickly signed up and opened one crate. The crate was filled up with guns similar to pistol. Zapp took one gun and started to pointing it around.
Leela: Don't play with it.
Zapp: I know how to use it.
Suddenly the gun fired and a bloody feather fall to the ground.
Chapter 12 The Light
The bullet pierced Lee's wing and shoot in a Milton's chest. Milton collapsed on the floor in puddle of blood. Fry quickly runed up to Milton and kneeled down, aside. Milton weakly look at Fry and closed his eyes. Wolfgan grabed the gun from Zapp's hand, crushed it with his claw and struck Zapp down on the floor with a terrible blow from his claw. While Zapp lain on the floor Wolfgan hurryed to Lee. Zapp hardly raised to his feet and saw Fry in the front. Fry was awfully enraged with tears in his eyes and his voice shaked.
Fry: (awfully enraged)YOU. . . . YOU KILLED MILTON! I KILL YOU!
Fry pounded Zapp's head with rage and huge force, Leela barely manage to pull Fry back. Leina kneeled down beside Milton when he cough up with blood.
Leina: FRY!MILTON IS ALIVE!
Fry runed up to Milton kneeled down aside. Milton lain on the floor bloody, but alive. Fry enwraped Milton in his red jacket and took to his embrace. Milton breathed heavily and his wound strongly bled. Fry quickly brought Milton into the ship. Although the ship flew at full speed,the flight seemed to be unending. All the way Fry sat in his chair,held Milton in his embrace and the whole time repeated.
Fry: (with tears in his eyes)Hang on. . . . please don't given up. . . . . don't given up.
In the Earth the veterinarian performed an operation to Milton, but his condition was critical. Fry alone sat in a small ward alongside Milton. After the operation Fry kept a close watch on Milton the whole time, but Milton's condition only grew to worse. Fry bury his face in his hands and bursted into tears. Fry unnoticed when Lee steal in. Lee's wing was bandaged, but he quietly jumped on the table where Milton laid. Lee walked up to Milton, he touched Milton's head with his nose and licked Milton's forehead. Then Lee closed his eyes, his wings and paws started to glow. Soon the whole Lee glowed, Fry tryed to look, but the light was blinding. Lee touched Milton and Milton's wound started to glow, suddenly all the lightdisappeared. Lee laid down near Milton,he clearly was completely exhausted. Milton slowly opened his eyes and looked at Fry.
