Chapter 1 Trip
The Tenth O’clock in the morning. The crew just gather together. Fry looks thoughtful. Then professor coming in.
Professor: Good news everyone!
Bender: That doesn’t sounds good.
Professor: You makeing a delivery todey. . . . . .
Bender: (interrupts) Forget it. . . I'm NOT going.
Professor: . . . to ancient city of Goldlake in Planet of Mines!
Bender: I'm in!
Leela: What we delivering?
Professor: A two chest of blue rocks.
Leela: (relieved) That sounds easy.
Professor: Oh my yes, you only have to fly half across universe, go pass bandits, pirates, and evade from black hole, very easy.
Leela: Bandits, pirates?
Professor: Oh did I forget to say, that the Planet of Mines is in the Galaxy of eternal war?
Leela: (angry) Yes you did!
Professor: Anyway, goodbye and have fun there.
The crew leaves the room.
Bender: (bumble again) Stupid Professor sending us to Galaxy of eternal war, again. . . .
The sixth O’clock in the evening. Planet Express ship near planet. (Pilot's deck)
Leela: (worried) What’s to you Fry?
Fry: (jump up) I'm ok, I just been thinking.
Bender: Thinking?! Ha ha you thinking as often as I working.
Leela: You look very sad lately.
Fry: (sigh) I'm feel fine. I just feel lonely lately. . .
Bender: Lonely?All the time we watching tv together.
Leela: Fry all going to tourn quit to. . CRAP PIRATES !
Fry: (scared) We all doomed, right?
Bender: Right.
Planet Express ship flys by pirate's ship.
Leela: Strange that ship is empty!
Bender: Let’s go in it and search a bit for treasures!?
Fry: Yes!
Leela: NO!!We have a delivery, and we searched too many ships for treasures anyway!
Bender: Let's dump delivery into black hole.
Leela: Stop offering to dump things into black holes. (happy) We, here!
Fry: (sadly) Oh.
Planet Express ship lands farm between and the city. Fry and Leela carry qout chests. Bender stay in ship.
Leela: Let's deliver those chests. Wheres that guy who ordered them, he should be here?
Fry: Maybe that guy?(pointing at farmer)
Leela: Fry!You couldn't even find a blind sheep.
Fry: There's one. (pointing at blind sheep)
Leela: Fry shout up.
Man armored with metal walks near them.
Paladin: (happy) Great my ore here!
Fry: (laughing) Leela look talking can!
Leela: He made of metal, that mean he is a robot.
Paladin: (angry) I'm not can or a robot, I'am a paladin!
Leela: (confused a bit) Here are your stuff sir. Sign here.
Paladin takes the chests and goes back to city.
Fry: (smile) Did you seen how funny that man looks?
Leela: Yes I did. (she smiles a bit) *in mind*Well at least he smiles again.
Leela and Fry goes back to ship.
Leela: Where is Bender?
Fry: He probably in cargo bay.
Leela: Check on him, we leaving this weird planet. .
Fry enters cargo bay. (Bender hide away a large bag)
Fry: What up?
Bender: (jumpy) What? Oh that you Fry, let's go to big boots, before she force us to wash all ship.
Fry: You right, let's go.
Chapter 2 The Gift
Planet Express conference room. Fry, Leela and Amy sit near table. Zoidberg scavenge among garbage in litter bin, nearby.
Leela: Go check where Bender.
Fry: Aye aye captain. Fry leave the room.
Leela: Amy did you seen Fry?
Amy: Sure you send him. . .
Leela: : (interrupts) No. . . he is very sad today.
Amy: Dah you broked his heart so many times I can't count them all.
Leela: (sad) Maybe you right, I was harsh to him.
Planet Express ship.
Fry: Hey, Bender what do you have there?
Bender: (surprise) Nothing. . . I mean gift. . . . yea a gift.
Fry: For who?
Bender: For you buddy.
Fry: (surprised) Bender that first nice thing you done since. . . . since we meet.
Bender: Here take this ball-shape stone. So you still feel lonely?
Fry: (giggle) This stone is warm and making funny sounds. Fry returns to conference room.
Leela: Why you so happy, and whats that ball size thing you carrying?
Fry: It is a gift from Bender.
Leela: Gifts and Bender sounds hard to believe.
Fry: Bender have heart too.
Amy: (corrects Fry's words) Two hearts.
Leela: Its hard to admit, but that thing made you realy happy.
Fry: This stone is warm and making strange sounds.
Leela: (interested) Show me that stone.
Fry: Ok, but be careful.
Leela: (amazed) FRY!This isn't a stone, it is egg.
Fry: Cool!That means now, I have pet too.
Leela: You can't keep it!You don't even know who is in there.
Fry: Why not?We don't know who is Zoidberg exactly, but we keeping it.
Zoidberg: (amazed) Whaaaat?
Fry: (serious) I keeping it!Professor have Pazuzu, Leela have Nibbler, and I'll have whatever is inside this egg.
Amy: Look the egg is hatching!
Chapter 3 New Friend
Among shells sittied mysterious and cute animal. He had dark blue fur, quite long ears, big green eyes, two snow-white fangs and pair of feathered wings. That animal standed up on his oversized white paws, waged his tail, and made touching-cute sound. Fry, Leela, Amy and Zoidberg looked at him, and smiled.
Amy: (delighted) That animal is very cute, Fry!
Leela: (delighted) Indeed cute, but still you can't keep it, Fry. You don't know anything about him, you don't even know what he eats.
Fry: (smile) I know, meat.
Leela: (confused/angry) What?
Fry: : (smile) He just bit Zoidberg.
Leela: Fry you can't keep him, you are barely able to take care of yourself.
Fry: Nonsense, had pet in the year 2000.
Fry take the new pet into his hands. The animal starts to curr. At that moment Hermes and Professor walk in.
Hermes: (confused) Fry man what is that?
Fry: (happy) My new pet!
Hermes: (pointing at Fry's pet) Professa what is that thing?
Professor: (forgetfully) And who am I?(remembered) Oh right that thing, I don't know.
Amy: Fry, you have to give him a name.
Fry: You right Amy, hmm(thinking) . . . . .
Professor: Fry you could use name of former space king like: Izuzu the Great, Ur Thar the Mighty or Chuck Norris.
Fry: I know I'll call him. . . .
Chapter 4 New Day
Fry: I know I'll call him Milton
Leela: Do you think there's going to be enough space in your apartment.
Fry: Sure plus I have much stuff left from Seymour.
Fry's apartment 11h at night.
Fry open the door and Milton run in. Fry opened can of snouts and gave Milton a plate of snouts and dish of water. Then Fry sit down near table and opened himself a can of slurm and bag of crisps. Once both finished eating, Fry layed old Seymour's bed and sit on his bed. Milton sniffed his bed and lied down in it. Fry smiled and soon falled asleep.
Next morning 8h, Planet Express building. Leela walk to conference room. Conference room's door opens.
Leela: (amazed) FRY?You in here, but how?
Fry: (playing with Milton, smile) Milton waked me up early today.
Professor walks in: Fry, Leela, whatever you-all early today.
Leela: (bit conffused) Yea.
Fry: (happy) Leela, would you like to take Nibbler for a walk along with me and Milton?We got a hour or two before rest of us gather her, or before Professor finish his breakfast.
Leela: (surprised) Ok, I guess we can.
Fry: Great, I just need to go back home because I forgotted Milton's collar.
Leela: (sigh) All right.
8: 30h Fry's apartment. Fry unlock the door, lower Milton from his hands on the ground and enter inside, Leela folow him Nibbler and Milton walked behind them.
Leela: (surprised) Wait?!This place dosen't look like that pile of rubbish you live in. !
Fry: Oh that, I had to clean up a bit, because Milton used to stumble on floor all the time. I found collar, let's go.
Fry and Leela pick up theirs pets and leave through the door. And walks towards park.
Chapter 5 Alright.
In park Fry and Leela sat on bench and watched, how Nibbler and Milton playing and runing nearby. They both sat in quiet, then suddenly Fry's telephone ringed.
Fry: (bit amazed) What?Oh Hermes calling. What up Hermes?
Hermes: Go back to work you lousy greensnakes!Its 10 o’clock and we have a delivery!
Fry: Ok, ok we coming back. Let's go to work Leela its 10 o’clock.
Leela: (amazed) What?(thinking few seconds) Let's go then.
10: 25h Planet Express HQ. Leela and Fry just returned. They both enter conference room. Hermes, Professor, Amy and Zoidberg sit around the table.
Hermes: Here you are lazybones. You have a delivery to deliver.
Leela: Ok we going, but where is Bender?
Door open and Bender walk in.
Bender: Hey hair piles, what new?
Professor: Good now everyone here that mean I finally can say, good news everyone, you have a delivery to Piroox 4 the volcano planet.
Bender: (ironic) Who could think that new mission wouldn’t be deadly?
Fry: I could.
Leela: (sigh)
Crew leave the room. Three hours later Planet Express ship is nearby Piroox 4.
The crew chatting, but their chat ends when someone starts to scratch the door.
Fry: (scared) what’s what?
Bender: Probably Nibbler.
Leela: (less scared) Can't be!Nibbler is over here.
Bender walks near the door and opens it.
Bender: Oh look, Fry this is yours hair ball with feathers.
Milton runs in and jumps into Fry's hands.
Leela: Fry!Why you taked him along?
Fry: (smiles) I leaved him at Planet Express building. He probably sneaked in.
Leela: (unbelieving) Sure. But leave him on ship when we land.
Fry: (heavily) Yes, captain.
Few minute later Planet Express ship landed on Piroox 4. Bender stayed in ship along with Nibbler and Milton. Fry carryed the delivery and Leela showed the way. Two hours later Fry and Leela were returning to ship along path between high cliff and volcano, then sudden they heared quiet steps behind ourselves, Fry looked back.
Fry: (surprise) Milton!How you get in here?
Leela: Fry!I told you to leave him in ship.
Fry: I leaved him ooo. . . . . . . .
Ground began to shake and tremble. Large rocks were falling everywhere. Ear-splitting sounds spread from volcano. The path to the ship soon was encumbered with a heavy rocks.
Leela: (frightened) FRY!RUN BACK!
Fry grabed Milton and started to run, but it was too late. The way back was blocked by river of lava.
Fry: (frightened) LEELA WE TRAPED!
Fry and Leela hugged and closed theirs eyes. Milton in Fry's arm closed his eyes, his white paws and wings started to glow with wite-blue light, soon light became blinding, blinding light became into flash. After that was silence. Fry and Leela stood hugged in PE ship's captain's deck. Fry and Leela opened their eyes and looked at each to others eyes. Then Leela regained sense, quickly jumped to her chair, grabed wheel and flyed of the planet. They both were stuned by that incident. Fry slowly sited in his chair and looked at Milton.
Fry: M. . . Mi. . . Milton you saved us.
Milton just waged his tail.
Few minutes later
Fry: (recovered) Leela will you ever object, that I keep Milton.
Leela: (smiled) Alright you can keep it, he can take care of you.
PE ship is flying back home.
