Marriages - Liar

very good shoegaze-y, female vocals that really work with the musical style
signatures make me feel like it's 2006 again

Exit...Stage Left - Rush

Recorded live during their Moving Pictures tour (March 27, 1981 at The Forum, Montreal, 3/4 of the record) and their Permanent Waves tour (June 10–11, 1980 at The Apollo, Glasgow, Scotland, the other 1/4).

This was the first Rush album (fine, cassette) I owned.  I got it for Christmas in 1986, I think.
It's a thing.  It's like a plan, but with more greatness.

Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime

I was doing stuff for work and I decided to give this a spin. Good grief, why did I wait 30 years to listen to this? Damn good story about a a junkie/radical that gets brainwashed into an assassin, but breaks out about it after meeting with a former prostitute turned nun. It's convoluted, I know, but the story actually is good and so is the music.
