Before my wife an I left we saw Megan Leavey in the theater.  Then we went into a hotel room and watched Rings on DVD.

Going into Georgia now....

FLASH! AHHHHH-AAAAAAAAAAAAA!

This movie was so 1980s cheese, but it's great.

Timothy Dalton is fantastic and BRIAN BLESSED!!!!!!! (you have to yell his name every time you say it; I think there's a law or something that says that) chews more scenery than William Shatner could ever dream of.
It's a thing.  It's like a plan, but with more greatness.

Fighting? There's no fighting in Plan C. Plan C is run away faster!

The past with dumb people who wanted to kill us for dumb reasons is behind us.  Ahead is a new place with new people who'll want to kill us for totally different reasons!

Technically it was Paprika in my "Watch all of Satoshi Kon's movies" binge because I love his stuff but the one that I couldn't get out of my mind was Perfect Blue. Brilliant film. Man if I could absorb the power of Kon's masterful editing I would.

I didn't have internet for about a week so I sat down and watched ten movies, about two a day, and well it was a mix bag:

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah -Was sad to see Godzilla finally die but was a good movie. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars
Godzilla vs. Megaguirus -was an average Godzilla movie, I gave it 3 out of 5 stars
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack -A over the top Godzilla film, but entertaining 4 out of 5 stars
The Human Centipede (First Sequence) -A weird idea for a movie, as gross as it was, I gave it an extra star for the original idea -2 stars
20 Million Miles to Earth -A good oldie where you feel bad for the monster at the end. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars
The Giant Claw -It was as bad as I had heard for years, but given that it was the 50's it gets 1 star
It Came from Beneath the Sea -Average monster movie could only give it 2 stars
Mothra (1961 film) -A neat movie to learn about Mortha, kept me entertained so I gave it 3 stars
The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) -Truly disgusting and should be avoided at all cost, but I gave it 1 star for the semi-original idea.
Balto III: Wings of Change -An alright way to end the three Balto movies, good songs gave it 2 stars out of 5
